WHAT IS RFID..????

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a  a system that transmits or receive by the identified in the form of a serial number of an object or person wireless using radio waves. It's can be categories as automatic identification technologies.

RFID is in use all around us.It usually use at booth toll when using touch n go,at super market from scanning the bar code to know the item price and at parking.

RFID technology does not require contact or line of sight for communication. RFID data can be read through the human body, clothing, non-metallic materials and therefore has limitations.

RFID system is often dependant on its application. High frequency RFID systems (850 MHz to 950 MHz and 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz) offer transmission ranges of more than 90 feet, although wavelengths in the 2.4 GHz .

A basic RFID system have three components:
  • An antenna or coil
  • A transceiver (with decoder)
  • A transponder (RF tag) electronically programmed with unique information

To get the data stored on an RFID tag, we need a reader. A  reader is a device that has one or more antennas that transmit radio waves and receive signals back from the tag. The reader then passes the information in digital form to a computer system.
